Sinopsis

La hermosa sobrina de Peter B. Kent influye en su tío para que visite a Perry Mason y le pida ayuda para evitar los intentos manejos de su ex esposa y de su socio de negocios y poder casarse de nuevo. Kent es sonámbulo y está preocupado porque anda de noche llevando un cuchillo de trinchar en las manos. Perry Mason organiza todo para que Kent pueda divorciarse definitivamente y casarse de nuevo, pero el plan se ve frustrado cuando el hermanastro de Kent muere apuñalado y el cuchillo ensangrentado aparece bajo la almohada de Kent.
